Meaning: The kingdom of Heaven may be compared to a king who gave a feast for his son's wedding. He sent his servants to call those who had been invited, but they would not come.
Next he sent some more servants with the words, "Tell those who have been invited: Look, my banquet is all prepared, my oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, everything is ready. Come to the wedding."
But they were not interested: one went off to his farm, another to his business, and the rest seized his servants, maltreated them and killed them…
I did not like going to mass. In the beginning, God was very understanding. When I asked Him why I didn’t like going to mass, He said: “because you cannot pray.” This is true.
When God finally asked me to hear mass and receive communion, He asked me to do this daily.
As God explained, the most important part of the mass is the Eucharistic feast. This is the “main event”. He likened the mass to a concert. Everything before the Eucharistic feast is just the opening act. It is when the Eucharistic Sacrifice is made that the main attraction begins. The star has arrived.
The Eucharistic bread is called the body of Christ, whereas the wine is called the blood of Christ.
The next pages explain what the mass is and why it is important that we receive daily communion.
